Contest Rules

By completing the following you are automatically entered into the Carabin Shaw & Santikos Giveaway, brought to by Carabin & Shaw P.C. ("CS”), the entrant acknowledges and agrees to all of these official contest rules (“Official Rules”).

By entering this contest or drawing, entrants agree to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in these Official Rules, in or for the contest or drawing itself, and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions and interpretations of CS, whose decisions are binding and final.

Failure to comply with these Official Rules or any contest specific rules may result in disqualification from the contest or drawing. The contest or drawing is open only to legal U.S. residents who are at least 18 years of age or older at time of entry.

Employees of CS and their respective officers, directors, agents, advertising and promotion agencies, and members of these employees’ immediate families (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their spouses) and those living in the same household with said employees, are not eligible.

Entry into this contest or drawing begins at 12:00pm CT on Friday, January 20, 2023. Deadline to complete the entry is Friday, February 10, 2023 at 5:00pm CT.

To enter contestants must:

• (1) Follow Carabin Shaw on Facebook or Instagram.
• (2) Like at least one of the post(s) styled LAW OR LIE: SANTIKOS ENTERTAINMENT on Facebook or Instagram.
• (3) Share this specific post, LAW OR LIE: SANTIKOS ENTERTAINMENT on Facebook or Instagram, to all Friends or Followers.
• (4) Answer the question of “What movie are you looking forward to watching this year? "

There will be a total of six chances to win via six drawings. All drawings will be for popcorn passes to Santikos Entertainment. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified.

Entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted, or duplicated are void and will not be accepted. CS will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false, fraudulent, incomplete, or duplicate.

Any entries found in any way to be lewd, bias, sexual, racist, bigoted, prejudicial or harassing will be void, causing for the entrant to be disqualified.

CS will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, as determined in CS’s sole discretion.

SIX potential winner(s) will be randomly selected by CS from eligible entries on Monday, February 13, 2023 by 5:00pm CT.

The odds of winning depend on the number of qualified entrants received.

Payments of all federal, state and local taxes related to the award of the prize are solely the responsibility of the winner.

CS, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Facebook Site or Other. Failure to comply with the Official Rules of the contest may result in an entrant’s disqualification and/or forfeiture of any prize or prizes. All decisions of CS with respect to the contest are final.

CS reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including, without limitation, as a result of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort, or for any reason whatsoever. CS reserve the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, which will become effective upon announcement or posting. If due to circumstances beyond the control of CS, any event related to the contest or prize is delayed, rescheduled, postponed, cancelled, or has a change of venue, CS reserves the right, but is not obligated, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) for CS to use contestant or winner’s name, home city and state, likeness and/or voice for purposes of advertising, promotion or other reason and publicity without additional compensation. The winner’s name and city of residence will be posted online and mailed to those who request it.
