Jamie Shaw has served as the managing partner for the Carabin Shaw Law Firm going on 32 years, servicing thousands of clients. A sixth-generation Texan, Shaw received his BBA in Finance at St. Mary's University. He studied and graduated from the University of Loyola School of Law in 1992. Shaw founded the Carabin Shaw Law Firm that same year with the guiding principle that the firm will always put clients first.
By building on a "client first" philosophy, Carabin Shaw has grown into one of the largest Personal Injury Law Firms in Texas. Carabin Shaw is known for standing up to powerful insurance companies and fighting for its clients. Through Shaw's leadership, the Carabin Shaw Firm has expanded to serve locations throughout Texas. Shaw is licensed in the State Bar of Texas as well as in New Mexico, Colorado and Oklahoma.
Active in the community, the family and the law firm support the San Antonio Food Bank, Blue Santa, the Angel Tree Foundation, the San Antonio Police Officers Association, the Boys and Girls Club of San Antonio, Saint Anthony De Padua Catholic Church and Cycle it Forward.
Practicing in Personal Injury Mr. Shaw concentrates his legal practice on auto accidents, trucking accidents, motorcycle accidents, wrongful death cases, personal injury cases and mass tort cases. Shaw's hobbies include traveling, hunting, fishing and attending concerts. Three most recent concerts were the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith and Lady Gaga.
Active in the Community Aransas County Youth Project
Shaw is the founder and past President of the ACYP (Aransas County Youth Project) from 2001 - 2006. This organization was formed to assist graduates of the Rockport-Fulton High School with continuing their education in colleges or trade schools.
Annual Pro Bono Effort through the San Antonio Bar Association's "Just Take One Program"
Shaw individually participates and encourages all Carabin Shaw Attorneys to participate in an Annual Pro Bono Effort through the San Antonio Bar Association's "Just Take One Program." The "Just Take One Program" assists individuals and families of San Antonio and South Texas with free legal assistance for the poor and/or disabled.

Shaw is a current member of the Saint Anthony de Padua of San Antonio and a former member of both the Sacred Heart Church of Rockport and the Corpus Christi Diocese Bishop's Guild.

Mr. Shaw and his wife Anna are long-time sponsors and underwriters of the Angel Tree Project.
