Who is at fault in an auto accident in San Antonio?
Personal Injury and Negligence law varies widely between States. Texas is an “At-Fault” State, as opposed to a “No-Fault” State like Florida or Pennsylvania. This means that any driver who is either completely or at least 50% responsible for an accident must take legal responsibility for it. To recover damages from the responsible party, the plaintiff must prove that the other party is at least 50% responsible for the accident. That is why it is important to call the police, or if the police cannot come to the accident site, to go to the police station and file a report if you have been in an auto accident in San Antonio.
