On the Northeast Side in the 6100 block of FM 78, near Lakeview Drive, as per initial information, a single-vehicle motorcycle accident occurred, leaving a man suffering severe injuries on Sunday night. The victim was driving a 2007 Honda motorcycle northbound when his motorbike collided with a concrete median. The collision’s impact led to the rider sustaining severe injuries after the crash. Someone who witnessed this devastating accident assisted the motor vehicle rider and explained to the police what had happened. Reportedly the motorcycle rider was not wearing a helmet when the crash occurred. When the emergency personnel arrived at the scene, they hastily rushed him to a hospital with critical injuries somewhat after 9:15 p.m.

Determining who is at fault in a motorcycle accident can be challenging. Having an experienced and knowledgeable lawyer on your side is essential to help determine who is at fault. For example, you can sometimes lose control of your motorbike due to a manufacturing defect. The motorcycle’s front and rear tires must be aligned correctly in order to make the front end stable at high speeds and to avoid wobbling. If this high-speed wobble causes an accident, whether caused by poor manufacturing or negligent work done by a repair shop, those parties may be liable for injuries and damages. If you find yourself injured due to someone else’s negligence, our San Antonio personal injury attorneys are ready to help you.

(June 16, 2022) On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, a man tragically died after crashing his vehicle into a tree while leaving his workplace. There were no passengers in the car, and the cause of the accident is unknown. The accident was reported by a coworker who saw him crash while leaving the building and called the police for help. The responding firefighters and emergency medical staff were able to cut him out of the vehicle; however, he was unfortunately already dead. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The tragic single-vehicle accident happened at around 6:40 a.m. this morning on South Zarzamora Street near Hunter’s Pond, just south of Loop 410 on San Antonio’s South side. The investigation is still ongoing, but officers at the scene mentioned the 39-year-old man may have fallen asleep at the wheel. A Toyota spokesperson mentioned in a statement that the man worked for a supply company to the Toyota plant he was leaving but was not a Toyota employee.

This accident follows just one day after authorities identified Jose Ramirez as the 36-year-old victim of a single-vehicle accident on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. This accident happened at around 2:30 a.m. on the North Side of San Antonio on Patricia and Bel Air drive. He was heading southeast when for unknown reasons, he lost control of his vehicle and slammed into a nearby median. Authorities were able to cut away the top of his vehicle to pull him free, but he was also pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing, but authorities stated that speed was a likely factor in this single-vehicle accident.

Earlier this month, a Texas car accident involving a van carrying an estimated 30 people crashed, killing ten and injuring twenty others. According to a local news , the accident occurred in South Texas, about 80 miles north of the Mexico border. Evidently, the driver of the van was attempting to make a right-hand turn when they lost control and crashed into a utility pole.

All passengers aboard the van are believed to be undocumented immigrants. The crash occurred less than a week after the Texas Governor issued an executive order preventing private transportation companies from providing transit to migrants. Some believe the Governor’s orders may have limited safer forms of transportation, resulting in the accident victims cramming into the overcrowded van.
