Woman Killed Walking Downtown

A woman identified as forty-two-year-old Corina Huerta was killed in a pedestrian accident while walking to her car, according to a San Antonio Express-News report. The woman was walking to her car in a downtown parking lot on Brooklyn Avenue and Dallas Street when she was pinned between two vehicles on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. The driver stopped at attempted to help the woman, who later died of her injuries at the hospital. According to the report, the police determined the driver was not intoxicated at the time of the crash.

Police Search for Driver After Hit and Run Kills Cyclist

San Antonio police are looking for a driver that hit and killed a cyclist and then fled the scene, according to a San Antonio Express-News report. The accident occurred early Friday morning, just before 2 a.m. when drivers on the 3500 block of Roland Avenue reported a mangled bicycle with a man next to it on the side of the road. According to the police report, a driver failed to navigate a turn at a curve in the road and clipped the cyclist, driving off without stopping to assist him. The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Man Dies After Being Hit by Two Passing Vehicles

Police close the West Military Drive at Luke Boulevard near the joint San Antonio-Lackland Base due to a fatal accident involving a pedestrian on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, according to a San Antonio Express-News story. The accident occurred at around 5:30 a.m. when a pedestrian who was walking on the road was struck by two passing vehicles, both of which stopped to help him.
