Carabin Shaw Donates $1000 to Local Non-Profit

(April 17, 2022) Every year, the Law Office of Carabin Shaw partners with News4SanAntonio in their Pay It 4ward program to donate $1000 to a local non-profit. This year’s selection was a local special needs program called Kinetic Kids serving the San Antonio area.

What is Kinetic Kids?

Kinetic Kids is a local non-profit organization that specializes in providing children with special needs opportunities for Sports and Fine Arts Programs that such children usually do not have access to. This includes activities like Track and Field, Gymnastics, Swimming, and Tennis, though they currently offer 235 programs across the San Antonio, Schertz, and New Braunfels areas. The experienced staff at Kinetic Kids are licensed physical therapists who understand the struggles faced by children with special needs and who strive to make a safe place for them to experience joy. Tiffany Neal, the operations manager for Kinetic Kids, says, “A lot of these kids go to therapy all day long. They’re told to walk better, to sit straighter, to write better. When they’re at Kinetic Kids, they’re just there to have fun, and they’re safe.”
