Child and Woman Killed After Drunk Driver Jumped a Curb, Crashed.

According to a KSAT News report, a woman and a child were killed while walking on the sidewalk along Stone Oak Parkway this week.

Police reported the accident happened at around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3rd, on the 2800 Block of Stone Oak Parkway. A man, later identified as 56-year-old Marlon Daniels, jumped the curb and hit a utility pole in his Audi Q50. He continued driving when he struck a 39-year-old woman and her 5-year-old daughter, who was in a stroller. They were pronounced dead at the scene. Daniels was speeding at the time and was found to be intoxicated. He has been charged with 2 counts of intoxication manslaughter.
