Little Girl Dies in Drowning Accident in San Antonio

According to a San Antonio Express-News report, a little on the Southwest side drowned in an above-ground pool at a family gathering yesterday.

Police reported that the incident occurred at around 8 p.m. yesterday when a family called the police to report that their child was missing. When police arrived, they found the little girl face down in an above-ground swimming pool, which the family reported had the ladder removed to prevent access. First responders performed life-saving measures and transported the girl to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. No charges were filed, and police are investigating the issue.
