One Person Was Hospitalized Following an 18-wheeler Accident on the Northeast Side
According to a KSAT News report, an 18-wheeler crashed and caused one person to be sent to the hospital in an accident today.
Police reported the accident happened just before 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30th, on North Loop 1604 East near Nacadoges on the Northeast Side. An 18-wheeler reportedly struck a wall and leaked hydraulic fluid onto the road for unknown reasons. One person was reportedly taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but it was not clear if it was the truck driver or someone else. The reason for the crash was not reported, but police estimated the road would be closed for roughly 5 hours while crews worked to clean the spill. The investigation is ongoing.
